Weyerhaeuser has planted pine seedlings in the area around gate 11 & 12 off of Barton Ferry Rd. DO NOT PULL UP OR MOW THESE SEEDLINGS!
See map below.
Seedlings planted in February or March may be hidden in tall grass and may not be easy to see until this fall. Everyone should avoid driving, disking, cutting, or otherwise disturbing planted seedlings on all sites.
Shooting lanes cannot be established in planted stands. Doing so could damage planted seedlings. If damage is identified on your lease, your club may be responsible for the cost of damages and/or subject to lease termination. DO NOT PULL UP OR MOW THESE SEEDLINGS!
Many clubs use old logging decks as food plots. However, once the surrounding area is clearcut, the logging deck may be planted with pine seedlings. If you want to reestablish a logging deck as a food plot, it must be enrolled in the food plot rental program.
